Fred is one of the top drum instructors at P.I.T., Musicians Institute, located in Hollywood, California. He also teaches privately and is highly sought after for drum instructions. Fred comes highly recommended by his peers such as Harvey Mason, Joe Porcaro, and Ricky Lawson for drum lessons, sessions and as a touring drummer. Fred comes from St. Louis Missouri and has been playing professionally for over thirty years.

He is presently the resident drummer for the World Recording Studios (John Barnes) and Fred is also actively writing and producing his own CD.

Fred has also appeared on numerous televisions shows such as Good Morning America, Sinbad’s Funfest on HBO, Dick Clark’s 50th American Bandstand Anniversary, Jerry Lewis MS Telethon and more. Fred is also the author of “It’s About Time” a Warner Bros. Publication the book was rated #4 in the Modern Drummers worldwide readers poll in it’s first year on the market. Fred also held a master class at the 2004 PASIC convention held in Nashville Tenn. where he demonstrated his amazing timekeeping drills and he recently recorded with Deniece Williams on her up and coming CD due out sometime in 2007.
