Luckman Jazz Orchestra last night at CSLA... WHOOHOOO

Those boys ripped it up......

Big Band jazz is like nothing else, and since they were tributing Miles Davis, this was a show that was NOT to be missed. Since it was raining, me and my bandmate almost talked each other out of it...

WOW! Nothing like being in the audience watching like twenty or more jazz MONSTERS bringing it out and driving it around.....

GET OUT AND SEE THIS SHOW !

Yeah Stephen,

I pulled a muscle in my arm during the sound check. Then made it worse when I played my drum solo. I shouldn't be playing with my cymbals so high in the sky, like I did when I was in my twenties! I'm getting too old for that. I will start using the Buddy Rich approach with my cymbals really low for a change! I'll be 60 years old in November and I don't want to feel or look my age. I got carded at Costco twelve days ago by a Hispanic lady. She insisted on seeing my driver's license, even after I vehemently told her that I'm a grandfather! I thought it was a joke - but she was dead serious and asserting that I look young! That was first and probably the last time that will ever happen to me again!

I will order that MicroHydrin (120) from you as expeditiously as possible to facilitate healing m right arm!

Blessings,
Alphonse

Hi Stephen,

Glad you and Cort were able to take advantage of the great seats I got for you two. I thought would enjoy seeing me play in a big band. Lots of reading and playing log charts. I had fun! I almost turned it down because the drum charts were to hard to read. I saw that I had 16 pages for one drum chart alone! Now I'm have a lot of confidence in my sight reading and I'm ready to take on the next big band challenge in April.

Call me when you are finished with your post production!

'Take care,
Alphonse
