- Rickey Duffy Jr. Is a 27 year old and has a great passion for God's music. Rickey first realized this gift at the age of two. He has now been playing the drums for over twenty years! Rickey has had the opportunity to work with many Artist. To name a few, Two-time Grammy Award winning American gospel recording artist Twinky Clark,Grammy-Nominated American gospel recording artist Joe Pace,Billboard's Top 15 on the Gospel Albums Chart recording artist LaShun Pace, Duranice from the awarding Pace Sisters,
One of Bourbon Street Music Club Sao Paulo, Brazil's popular group NU-BEGINNINGS,gospel Recording Artist Jai Reed, R&B recording artist Erica Falls and Recording Jazz Artist Toppsy Chatman.Ricky performed in Sao Paulo Brazil in 2007 with both Erica Falls and Nu-Beginnings. Rickey has done numerous workshops throughout the State of Florida, and also confenrences throughout as well.
Rickey has also worked with Kang Wurld Entertainment out of Jacksonville, Fl..He is currently the musical director at Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center in Pensacola Fl. Rickey is very dedicated to music and has a stong passion for it. Rickey lives by the motto the, "If you can't give it your all, then don't give any!"Rickey has always kept God first for he knows where his gift came from!!! God has also given him a ministry called KINGDOM MINDED MUSICIANS to enhance the ministry of young gifted musician as Rickey once was. Rickey is also married to a beautiful young woman(Heather). He also has a beautiful daughter as well(Rickea). Rickey has just returned from Brazil on tour for to weeks and was blessed to be endorsed by Krest Cymabals, Luen Drum Heads, and Sonar Drumsticks!

The second Slapstik New Beat Contest is now open for submissions. The purpose of the contest is to encourage drummers to develop new techniques with the Slapstik. In order to participate shoot a short video of yourself playing the Slapastik and post it on YouTube.com as a video response to our video http://youtube.com/watch?v=QMg9Fxe8AEk
A panel of judges will review all the submissions and pick three finalists. The first prize is $300, second prize $200, third prize $100. The deadline for submissions is July 1st.
