I'm about to get crackin' on new stuff very soon. As a matter of fact, I'm waitin' to hear from Greg Baril tonight or in the morn 'bout a call from Nashville for us as a backing band for a blues artist we did the Springin' the Blues Festival back in May. Looks like my plate may be full, but I ain't complainin' 'bout it, I'm grateful. Poogie and I did a hit together back in June on the beach along with Trevor Sommerville, and it was a blast doin' a show with Maurice Hines at the Ritz Theatre for their 10th Anniversary Rent Party. To watch Maurice warm up before the show. Priceless. I'm also workin' with the theatre's jazz orchestra, so that's cool. Did some tributes there as well like the Crusaders and Jazz Crusaders, Ben Webster, Dexter Gordon, and Lester Young, stuff like that.

Thanks Nick,

actually i've bought one last year. oh yeah, it's one of the best investments i've made. i've been trying to get into REASON and ABLETON LIVE and it's been really neat. it's challenging me to dabble in writing tunes.

Hello Nick,

thanks for your kind words. Yes, (on Drumography) everything was done through a click except for that last 'free form' solo. the recording is over 10 years old. it's the only thing i have documented that seemed polished. I just wanted showcase as best as I could my versatility in different styles. Nothing groundbreaking, just wanted to show that i could support the music.

Hey Nick thanks for the compliments on my video. To answer your question about do I have any clips with a band. Yes I have a few from the BET jazz awards with marc cary, and some tv shows I did with hip-hop artist. planning on digging those up and posting them. Also I might just video tape some of the next performances on tour with JT Taylor and put them up. talk with you later...POOF!!!!!!!

Hey Nick, thanks for your comment. It is good to be here. So I take you dig this tune? Hope so. While the genre varies (I love everything that feels good!) this is one of my originals with my own band which I am very proud of. No rock/pop venues would take us except CBGBs (RIP) and we were obviously too loud for the jazz venues.. More tunes coming, in mean time check out others on myspace. Thanks again.

Hey Nick great page, playing and full of knowledge. More carlton barrett than Sly and chris is definitely one of my favorites, he's also a carlton barrett fan. Did alot of reggae and dancehall tours so alot of my hihat patterns and cross-stick stuff comes from being exposed to those great musicians.
Holla!!!!

Wow! Tempus drums............... that one's from the "way back machine", Nick! I am aware that they are still being made but am surprised to see someone playing them. They bring back positive musical memories.
