I've just taken delivery of a copy of the Keith Emerson CD "Changing States", the one you recorded with him but which I think you said you didn't have ( or even know much about ).
So, if you like, I'll dub you a copy and snail-mail it to you. If you're interested please e-mail me ( masontempus@telus.net ) with your shipping address.
Thanks for writing back - I'll see what I can do about finding the Keith Emerson CD for you.
As for how I know about the album, and how I know Ed Clift ( definitely one of the all time good guys in this or any industry and a friend for better than twenty years ), I build drums, which means I have friends all over the world who constantly turn me on to new music. Which also means that I buy a lot of music/records/CDs ( and shelving! )
Anyway, I'll let you know how I do with "Changing States"...
What precious little I know of your playing I enjoy immensely - well done!
Many years ago a friend mine, Ed Clift, played me a tape of an album you did with Keith Emerson. Wonderful stuff, as remember it... but I don't know that I've ever come across the album itself.
So, what's it called and where do you suggest I look for a copy to buy?
Hey Michael, Nice to meet you here. Saw you on Kenwood's page. Sheddin' and workin' on solo stuff in my hometown of Pittsburgh; bumped into Poogie, of course. ;) Then, Jimmy Ford sent me here. Hip site. So, do you chant, too? ;) more soon, promise. ciao, -janelle
