Well first let me say what a pleasure it is to go to this website and see so many faces that I haven't seen in such a long time.Poogie thank you for this .Now about me.The reason it's taken me this long to come on board is because of this "about me" section.It's so hard to talk about me when I've stolen so much from so many people. So what I would like to do first is acknowledge those that I stole from and what I stole.First and foremost I like to pay homage to my father,Ralph Charles DueWhite Sr.my all time favorite drummer in the world.My father wasn't formerly taught to play.But he could swing his butt off and that led to him imposing upon me the importance of learning how to read because there were gigs he couldn't do because of his lack of reading.Then that leads me to Tony Lewis who I witnessed reading music what looked like fly (you know what).Then there's Gene(Action)Jackson.We've been friends for 30 years and I've only managed to steal very little because he's got so much.Poogie, here's a person who has all the chops in the world but plays the music.Hence,his discography.It speaks for itself.Then we have Wally Gator, and Buddy Williams.You two are like big brothers.Your not that much older than me age wise but with the advice that I've gotten from the two of you it's like your my father.Everything from being on time to the gig,being prepared for the gig and Buddy I didn't forget(watch that foot).I really could go on and on.J.T. Lewis.I miss seeing you dropping off you daughter at school.Charlie Drayton the groove master.Billy"killer"Kilson,Will Calhoun,Dwanye"cook' Broadnax,Max,Tony,Elvin.Roy .Like I said fellas it's hard to talk about me right now.But I Promise when I'm finished stealing I'll write a little something ABOUT ME.
