Hi
I´m Andreas Wieland from south Germany and I play in several bands like CHECK UP and deep blue diamond. CHECK UP is my funk blues rock latin band. We do a great spectrum of music there. DBD is a german rock band also with its own style. I..m very open to play every style of music but the main thing I prefer is only to groove or to play mighty drumsolos. There are some great friends and musicians I worked together with. E.g. drummers like Pete York of the famous "Spencer Davis group" or Herman Rarebell from the "Scorpions". In the blues section I enjoyed to play with Mick Pini an english blues legend and Jimmy Carl Black the former drummer of Frank Zappa. I also do jobs in Ghospel bands, orchestras in theatres and one of the greatest moments was to play at the opening event of the football worldcup in the "Allianz Arena"Munich. There were artists like Herbert Grönemeyer, Seeed, Claudia Schiffer...
The thing I always want to do is to find the right groove and rhythm for everything For more information visit me www.andreas-wieland.com
Hi all drummerfriends, For those who wanna play drums on their computer you can do that on my webspace. I invite you all and hope you enjoy it. It was a lot of work to create this flash animation in the studio but it makes fun:-)) Try it under "play drums" on www.andreas-wieland.com Greetings From Germany Andy

Hey Andy,
I put a couple of tracks up of the band that you might enjoy. A good group of players and an outdoor date a few years back. I had a slit snare drum head but wasn't aware of it. Ed Shaughnessy found it for me a few weeks later at a gig I did with him. Anyway, enjoy......
Thank you Andy!
I really appreciate your comments! Very nice of you.
I enjoy so much being able to express my feeling and
emotions through my playing and performances. I am
happy that it translates to you. Good luck in all you do.
I REALLY enjoyed your playing.... nice, clean and very tasteful. Young cats like yourself continue to amaze me !!! I wonder if you know of Chris Schaller who I believe lives in Krautland, Germany. He studied with me a few years ago and was a fine player. I wish you great things, you are a marvelous drummer.........
