About Me:

I work in the Washington, DC/Baltimore region gigging and recording with a variety of bands, including Higher Octave/Narada recording artists Shahin & Sepehr. I teach privately and at Goucher College, and I manage www.JaneLPowell.com , a Jazz/R&B singer I toured with for 11 years. I also create unique musical DVDs , CDs, and games, found at www.MusicAndGames4U.com . I run an annual www.DrumsetAndPercussionCamp. org for teenagers as part of the Goucher Summer Arts Institute, and I have written for DrumPro Magazine (see www.Drum.com) as well as Percussive Notes. I also serve as VP of the MD/DE chapter of the Percussive Arts Society.
I use, adore, and endorse drums by Maryland Drum Company, Dream Cymbals, Trueline Drumsticks, and Roland electronic percussion!
