- Rodrigo Oliveira initiated his musical career in September of 1994, together with two college friends, they started the band Carrascos, recording three demo-tape and participation with some independent bands, making concerts for diverse cities in the state of São Paulo.
In March of 1996 he was invited to play with Stronger, a band of death metal of São Paulo, where he played in diverse places in Brazil, as Aeroanta, Ginásio da Portuguesa, Black Jack, etc.
Some integrants they did not take the band as a serious work but Rodrigo always faced the battery as profession, and than he left the band.
In September of 1997 Rodrigo got in contact with Korzus (Sao Paulo) for a test, therefore the drummer Fernando Schaefer had left the band. Soon in the first test, Rodrigo already assumed the drums of KORZUS.
In 1998 the first fire test, Rodrigo, 17 years with Korzus played in the festival Philips Monsters of Rock, one of the most and important metal festivals of the world. In this festival at Monsters they recorded a Live of Rock, with five live tracks, recorded for the MTV Brazil, and more four tracks in studio, one of them is a biggest hymns of the band "Catimba". In the following years together with Korzus, Rodrigo had played in all Brazilian territories, north thru south, making always the best and greater Tour of a national metal band.
In March of 2004 was launched in the store the compact disc "Tiesof Blood" (Unimar/Universal Music). After the launching, the compact disc receives excellent criticizes, getting maximum note in almost all the specialized magazines and sites, being considered as the Best Compact disc of the Year In the same day of the launching all leaves in boards Brazil the magazine Roadie Crew, being Korzus layer. Months later leave in boards the Disconnected Magazine again with the Korzus being layer. In the edition 2004 of the Festival Porão do Rock (DF), one of the most important national festivals, the Korzus was one of the Headliners of the first night of the event, touching for more than 45 a thousand people, being noticed in the "Periodical Today (GLOBO TV)", "Periodical of the MTV", and other sources of the country. In October of 2004 Korzus it touches in the Way Funchal(SP) with the English group Cradle of Filth and in the Circus Voador(RJ) and Led Slay(SP) with the American band Exodus.
In day 24 of October of 2004, Rodrigo went to England for European Tour with a British band Mercury Rain; they played in diverse countries as: England, France, Spain, etc. He return to Brazil, Korzus continues the "Blood Tour", playing in diverse Brazilian states, being Headliner in the majority of the cases, and touching to the side of great national bands, Shaaman, Rumbora, and others. After being invited for a festival BMU 2005 in the DirecTv Music Hall, Korzus received the proposal to play in the Chimera Festival, with Sepultura and Slipknot., for more than 25 thousand people. In December of 2005 the band played in the biggest festival of the Equator "to head-linner".
In "Quito Fest", played for more than 15 a thousand people, leaving many fans.
The Korzus already starts to compose new material, and intends to enter in studio in the half of the year for the launching in the end of 2008.
Rodrigo he is producer, drums professor, studio musician.
The project of Rodrigo is to play, to teach and to help in all the directions in the national and world-wide metal.
