COS has a monthly hit at Bossa, 2463 18th St NW, in DC. We typically do this the last night of the month. The band is congealing nicely and building a following. It's nice to be able to play original music and get out of the basement.
The current lineup features John Kocur and Murad Hussain on reeds. Very feisty. If you're in the area, come on out.

I found a ning network related to prog, and set up a site there too:
http://progrock.ning.com/profile/NickCosta
The site lets you put up 100 mp3s 10 MB or less in size, so if you've been meaning to set up a web presence, it might be worth a look.
It's also dolphin safe.

Circus of Saints Trio, featuring uber bassoonista Dana Jessen, plus Bill Sokol on fretless picollo bass and yours truly on drum set, is now available in glorious plastic. Price is $10.00 plus SH&H, which should run about $3.00 in the US.
You can hear some of it on the player here, as well as here:

actually i've bought one last year. oh yeah, it's one of the best investments i've made. i've been trying to get into REASON and ABLETON LIVE and it's been really neat. it's challenging me to dabble in writing tunes.
thanks for your kind words. Yes, (on Drumography) everything was done through a click except for that last 'free form' solo. the recording is over 10 years old. it's the only thing i have documented that seemed polished. I just wanted showcase as best as I could my versatility in different styles. Nothing groundbreaking, just wanted to show that i could support the music.
that explains why j.j. says he uses jazz sticks for the gig. i was like what??? great drumming btw.
