- For the past 30 years I've enjoyed a career in radio. In 2000 I left Chicago to help start the satellite radio revolution and created XM 70 Real Jazz the first coast-to-coast Jazz channel on XM Satellite Radio. As a result, Jazz fans can hear the best in Classic Jazz across the United States, Canada and worldwide on AOL and XM Online. In addition to just about every make of automobile, you can also hear us in Avis, National, Zip Car's, DirecTv, United, Jet Blue, ATA and on a wide array of XM Satellite Radio's made for your car, home and the portable XM2Go models. Since 2001 I have been the producer of the popular "In The Swing Seat with Wynton Marsalis" feature and until June 2007 when my wife and I relocated to Nashville, TN, I was broadcasting from the XM Studios at Jazz At Lincoln Center in New York City. You can still hear me each day from 8am-4pm eastern on XM Satellite Radio channel XM 70, Real Jazz.
I am fortunate to have received every broadcasting award imaginable including (Marconi, Billboard, Impact, Gavin, Black Radio Exclusive, MRMA, NBPA, IAJE, Radio Ink, Radio & Records, Jazz Times) but I am blessed to have a loving wife, four wonderful children and great lifelong friends.
