Hello Joseph. I'm really lookin' forward to rappin' witcha main man. So much history I'd love to hear you talk about. I love the big band sound. My parents told me that I was born in the wrong era. One Love.
GREAT HEARING FROM YOU. I REMEMBER YOU PLAYING WITH MY COUSIN. I WAS WITH EDDIE KENDRICKS AT THE TIME. STILL HITTING WITH MY COUSIN BROTHER AH AND OTHERS. HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND A GREAT 2008. STAY IN TOUCH.
GOD BLESS AND MY PEACE TO YOU

I put a couple of tracks up of the band that you might enjoy. It was an outdoor date at Hollywood Circle a few years back. Good group of players. Jay Corre was on the gig playing tenor.
I had a slit snare drum head, but wasn't aware of it at the time. Ed Shaughnessty found it a few weeks later on a gig I did With him. Anyway, enjoy..............
Hey Mr. B,
I see that you made it. It looks like this is going to be a great site. Poogie seems to have established a nice thing here for the drumming community. I hope you are doing well.
70 yr. old. Drumming 60 yr. Still quite active in FL. and CT. Playing abilities are Big Band, Shows, G.B. gigs. My first show gig was at the age of 14 with Mel Torme'. That was a bit scary! Since then the Big Bands of Jimmy Dorsey, Ray Anthony, Charley Spivak and Sammy Kaye. Quite a few singers... Sammy Davis Jr., Tom Jones, Jerry Vale, Don Cornell, Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington etc. Still loving it after so many years. My advice to all of you is to "Keep on keepin' on"!
