- About Me:
- Percussionist,DJ,Vocalist,My Father ,Turner James Pierce intoduced me to music in the 60's.He was not a musican,but he had a great love for music and a serious record collection.He played everything from James Brown to Jimmy Smith.It got me interested in playing.I started on the trumpet,then the drums.I became a DJ because I liked the break beats that Bambaataa used to play.I got back into live music in 1988 when Hip hop changed.I took up the Bass and took lessons from Eric Seals.I've played in rock bands and did studio sessions for alot of Bronx rappers.I took up playing the congos because I love the D.C. Go-Go sound.I'm currently in Dave Mullens Butta,doing vocals and turntable work.I have my own Band called the Funk Dynasty.I'm up front and the congos.Music is in my blood.We had a few musicans in the family.My Big Cuz's Brother Ah,Gilbert Northern,Milton E. Russ'and Uncle Sonny Greer.
